Mark had an idea he wanted to work on basked on sort of a reggae rhythm that he had.
Tried it at A-flat then F-flat then F then we went back to A-flat
Tom couldn't hit the end high note so he went lower and mark sang the high harmony
Then listening back to the recordings Tom Voted for the Eminor everyone else liked the A-flat
then tried B which had more of a nick cave feel and Mark could play the harmony on guitar
Tried B-flat and it wasnt the same
C sounded more like the E minorish part
D just sounded weird to everyone
Decided on playing it in b cuz it seemed like it had more room for other parts and improvement as it was played
Then there was an idea for a B part recorded. Just a rough idea

Mark did an arrangement of the song from the practice recording and laid down some drum samples and guitar and a vocal idea on top of the recording.
Then Tom and Mark wrote and recorded new verses in a style trying to paint a scene with the lyics.
Re-recorded the chorus and the original verse line that Mark did became the bridge in the song.
Song is titled Chocolate and Cocaine.
Lyrics
It seems like, it happens more at night
The angel and the devil live inside
Truly, when we were on the rise
Truly, when we were on the run
And it really could've been anyone
It was in her smile
It was in her eyes
It was in her vein
Chocolate and Cocaine
A kiss in the street, and so soon you're gone
We finally meet and then the wheels come off
Already, Already, on the end
Already, Already, And it really could've been anyone
It was in her smile
It was in her eyes
It was in her vein
Chocolate and Cocaine
Truly, when we were on the rise
Truly, when we were on the run
Truly, when we were on the rise
And it really could've been anyone
Truly, when we were on the rise
Truly, when we were on the run
Truly, when we were on the rise
And it really could've been anyone
It was in her smile
It was in her eyes
It was in her vein
Chocolate and Cocaine
